Distributions from this endowment will support a faculty member who is a graduate veterinarian in a full-time or part-time clinical or tenure-track position.

Students with a large animal focus are widely sought after for rural practices around the state. The training and preparations they receive prepare them to meet a great demand in rural communities wherever they choose to practice.

Gifts to the Dr. Bill Romane Memorial Endowed Scholarship will be directed toward students with special interests in rural veterinary practice, a lifelong interest of Dr. Romane.
